Road Hazard Policy

Warranty:  In the event of tire damage, if we are of the opinion that a tire can be safely repaired, we will do so free of charge.   In the event that a tire is non-repairable, it will be replaced and or pro-rated under the manufacturer’s warranty IF applicable.  We offer a full warranty for one year after purchase, or the first 2/32nds of tread life, whichever comes first.  We will rotate free of charge for the life of the tire.  Balancing will be done at standard labor cost.

Road Hazard:  Road hazard is damage that results from your tires contact with a pothole, road debris, or any other object not normally found on the roadway.  If a tire purchased with road hazard fails due to non-repairable road hazard or manufacturers defect and is less than 3 years in age and has more than 3/32nds tread remaining across the tire we will replace the tire with one of equal or lesser value.  We reserve the right to offer a substitution for a product of equal or similar features and functionality.  If the tire is repairable, we will repair it to the manufacturer’s recommendations.  In the event that we replace a tire due to road hazard or defect, the consumer will be responsible for the labor to change the tire and a fee if you choose to have the road hazard included on the new tire.

To honor warranty or road hazard on any tire, the consumer must ensure vehicle suspension, and steering components are in good functioning condition and alignment is maintained.  Tires must be rotated every 6,000 to 8,000 miles.  Any uneven wear will void warranty.  It is the consumer’s responsibility to have tire pressure checked at least once per month.  Warranty and Road Hazard are non-transferrable and only applies to the original purchaser, and original vehicle that the tires were installed on.  Upon replacement, Texas Truck Tire has all rights of ownership to the replaced damaged tire.
